I recently changed my device and took a manual backup which was successful but then when I restore it, it gives me an error saying “Unterminated string starting at line 1 column: 96518127“. I have been using SeriesGuide for almost 5 years now and I have a very big database of tv shows. Help me out in this, please?
Hey, I guess you also asked this via email? This error message means that the JSON file you are trying to import is corrupted. Have you maybe exported it onto a broken microSD card or some other portable storage? Or maybe something went wrong while copying the file to the new device.
Hey, yes! that was me. When i exported it from my previous device, it gave me a message saying “export successful”. I exported it onto my previous phone’s internal storage and then copied to to my laptop and then copied it back to my new phone. I am attaching the JSON in zip format. I tried to open it but its just too big for my system and didn’t open.
