When I perform an action such as add a series or check an episode watched on my phone it doesn’t transfer over to my tablet. How do I make that happen?

I must be doing something wrong. I tried what you said but my tablet is still way out of date. Shows that i checked as watched on my phone months ago are still unchecked on the tablet. And the tablet has zero watched history. Is it even possible to make devices match up?
History is per device only if you are using Cloud.
If in doubt you can sign out and sign in again to trigger a data merge.
