Problem with notification

Recently I have noticed a bug that the app is not showing any notification when a new episode has aired. Until I manually open the application.
I have been facing this issue for 2 months.

This is likely an issue with battery optimizations of your device.

You can try to exclude SeriesGuide from battery optimizations. These settings are in different places depending on your device manufacturer.

Typically you can find them in Settings > Apps > Special app access > Battery optimization. Find SeriesGuide under “All apps” and choose to not optimize.
