Movies: Sort watchlist by Date Added; list view

I would love these 2 features for Movies for the Watchlist:

  1. Sort by Date Added. I currently use IMDB because of this feature. Would love to use SeriesGuide for this

  2. Be able to have a list view in Movies. Not a big fan of the poster view. Having a list view could provide more details at a glance such as runtime (most important imo), release date, rating…

This feature request is almost 3 years ago and nothing happened :frowning_face:

I was about to create the similar topic right now, but found this topic here.

@uwe : Since this feature request is similar to the option we already have in the Series section, where you have a tab with the (recently watched) history, couldn’t this be easily implemented for movies as well? It’s more or less just copying code. It would help a lot and make the app more consistent in function.

SeriesGuide is open source. Feel free to coordinate with me and contribute. Or pay someone to. :smile:

But for real: I would love to change and improve many things immediately. But I work on SeriesGuide on my own and part time, so things just take their time.

I’m sorry - I do work in the IT world, but I’m not a developer - but if I would, I’d love to support you here to present a first approach.

Can you instead prioritize this? This might only take little of your time :slight_smile: (but of course should never overrule more important tasks).
