Did anyone have their Trakt stop syncing? I just noticed my shows weren’t getting marked off and went to check the settings. I was signed out of Trakt. I signed back in and allowed SG to have access to Trakt but my watch history isn’t being synced.
My synchronization with Trakt has stopped working . I can see the history , but any changes made in the Series Guide are not reflected in the history - as if the data is coming from Trakt but not being sent back . Since I’m from Russia , I thought that Roskomnadzor might be blocking something again . Which country are you from ?
Started yesterday, moments after a episode was marked as watched, it wasn’t, but still remained in history. Something is seriously wrong with Trakt these days.
I’m in US. I think mine is opposite. If I mark something in SG it does show in Trakt, but if it is in Trakt from a scrobble in Kodi or Netflix it’s not marked as watched in SG.
Note that only once the episode is finished, it will be marked as watched on Trakt. And only then the next sync will mark it watched in SeriesGuide. Maybe that’s it?
Do you maybe also have SeriesGuide Cloud connected? That would disable two-way syncing with Trakt.
If you are referring to the “History” tab, that’s directly fetched from Trakt. If syncing hasn’t happened, yet, it might not match the actual state in the SeriesGuide database.
Thank you for your input/feedback. There were some issues yesterday with Trakt (again). The problem I got, I’ve never seen before, but thanks to some higher powers, everything reverted back to normal late night. No problems today.
Uwe, thanks for chiming in. I want to reiterate that I have several episodes marked as watched in Trakt, but none of them are being marked as watched in SG even after forced syncs and re-auth of the Trakt Integration.
To add, from my specific case, I do not have SG cloud.
I’ve only just now, while rereading my message, actually thought about what I wrote. If there is a history, then there are no problems with access to the site. It’s not connected to SeriesGuide Cloud in any way, and the app says “not connected,” and when you tap “connect,” the app asks for an email address. I’ll go dig through the Trakt account settings. Maybe something is configured incorrectly there.
I haven’t been able to connect to Trakt for over a week. When the box comes up to connect and I press yes it just sits there. I’ve been using Series Guide for years so I’m stumped.
Welcome to the boards Nancy! My Trakt started working the next day after I posted. To help with troubleshooting, I assume you’ve force closed, cleared cache of SeriesGuide and of your default browser?
After pressing Yes on the Trakt website, the browser app should redirect back to the SeriesGuide app. Some browsers don’t properly support that. I know that Firefox and Chrome work. What browser did you use?
