Trakt sync issues

Over the last year uploading data to Trakt has become very unreliable.

There are no errors, no progress spinner in settings, nichts. SeriesGuide just sits still doing nothing during automatic or manual syncing.

I have another tracker app on my phone (installed just recently, so it couldn’t be the cause), and it works fine. Once I upload my data to Trakt using that app, SeriesGuide then pulls it from Trakt as usual. So it’s the upload part that doesn’t work.

Rebooting the phone usually fix it for a sync or two, then it breaks again. Cache clearing, app updating - none of that helps.

My database is quite small: two dozens ongoing shows and no movies.

One possible thing to try: disable battery optimization. The instructions are the same as in Notifications appear too late - SeriesGuide
